Fashionista in the making...

Avery is a little fashionista in the making.  I had to put a safety door knob on her closet because she will pull out all her clothes and change 20 times a day.  This outfit below is just one of many wardrobe changes...notice the tights over her pajama bottoms and her gloves.  LOVE IT

This picture she was wanting to go outside with this outfit on.
Avery created a new look for her baby.

Fishing Report...

We took the kids fishing at Charlie Elliott Wildlife Center.  I will say, it was very entertaining with 2 little ones.  Avery enjoyed fishing and reeling her line in...she caught her first fish a catfish.  Avery wanted to hold the fish but Phillip wouldn't let her hold it completely...seems a catfish has sharp fins and can cut you.  Logan just wanted to hold his pole and tap it in the water, he didn't want anything to do with the fish.  We had a great day and then ended the fishing adventure with a picnic.

Elmos Super Hereos (LIVE)...

We took Avery to see Elmo's Super Heroes at Philips Arena on Friday.  We had the best day!!!  We took the Marta Train to Philips Arena this was a first for Avery to get on the train...she loved it!! Elmo's Super Heroes were amazing, we sang, danced and cheered.  Avery had a chance to see Cookie Monster, Rosita and Prairie Dawn up close they worked the crowd. We were able to get a great picture of Avery and Prairie Dawn up close.  Great time with family and Elmo and his friends!!!

Arts+Crafts= MESS...

I love this age...Avery loves to color, draw, play with play doh and this weekend we finger painted.  Avery sat at the table and played with play doh for quite a while and when I came back this is the mess I found.  I had to laugh a little but at the same time let her know that we DO NOT throw play doe on the floor.  The next picture really makes me laugh...i started cleaning up the mess and Avery grabbed a banana and sat under the table to watch me clean.  (doesn't her hair just look SO cute)
First time finger painting...

WV...Country Roads...2011

We had a GREAT (too short) visit to WV during July 4th weekend. Our visit was quick and I feel like I didn't even spend time visiting my family but any time with the most amazing family is special.  We had our yearly Dugan's Family and Friends Reunion and  Avery's birthday party during our trip.  Avery was able to spend time with her WV family...she loved on Aunt Jenn (slept in her bed every night), had pap pap taking naps with her and mimi helped with lighting bugs.  Here are a few pictures...

I LOVE this picture.  Avery and pap pap were watching
television together and they both fell asleep.  PRICELESS!!!

Phillip made Avery a jar for her to put her lighting bugs in...this was a first for her and she was very fascinated by them. Mimi let her bring her lighting bugs inside and they watched them light up.

Swimming with her cousins.
Playing games at our family reunion.

Loved picking up ducks...

Avery with her Aunt Jenn...they have a connection.
